Dear Friends and Family,
I am currently hanging out in the airport in Santiago, Chile. My next flight (to Buenos Aires!!!) leaves at 2:10, so I've got a little bit of time on my hands. Praise the Lord both of my other flights have been great. Let me just tell you, LAN flights are sweeeet. I mean I felt like I was flying business class or something at least. I kept having this dream that I really needed to wake up, but I couldn't because I was too tired, but I woke up in plenty of time before we landed, watched an episode of Friends and got a few chuckles in.
What I'm feeling now: tired, excited, slightly nervous, but mainly excited, surrounded by God's love and protected in His arms. There are so many thoughts running through my head, but the main one is disbelief that I'll actually be in Argentina for the next 3 months, starting tonight. I know I will be, but my mind refuses to totally grasp it.
Well that's all for this morning. Please continue praying for safe travels and quick adjustment, especially to the weather (it's very cold compared to 90+ degree weather!!), as well as adjusting to using the argentine peso wisely and acclamating to the language and culture. Thanks!
